Section 4: Ground Rules
1. Single
- Age Limit: Senior (18) and Under
- Two players per team
- $15 dollars per player
- Cut Off Date: May 6th.
- Teams must provide at least two Wiffleballs on opening day.
- Teams are encouraged to have matching t-shirts or hats
- Teams must sign a contract stating that:
- They commit to the league and will make as many games as possible
- They will follow all listed rules
- They will respect host's field
- They will be honest with the commissioners of the league on any and all matters
- The league is not responsible for any on field injuries
Section 2: General Rules
- Games run forty minutes long
- If time expires in the middle of an inning and the score is tied, the inning is played through and one extra inning follows
- If the game is still tied after one extra inning, "California Rules" will apply.
- California Rules: Bases loaded, 1 out.
- The mercy rule will be twelve runs after the end of any inning

- Swings and misses
- Hits two foul balls
- Watches the ball hit the "K-Zone"
- Hits the ball into play, and the fielder cleanly fields a ground/fly ball
- Drawing a walk on six balls
- Putting a ball in fair play for a single, double, triple, or homerun
- Putting a ball in play, and having a fielder make an error
- If both members fail to show up within the allotted time, the team will be forced to forfeit
- If both members of each team fail to show up within the allotted time, the teams will recieve a double forfeit
Section 3: Field Dimensions
- Distance between out field wall varies
- Length to left and right field ranges between 80-90 feet
- Lengh to center field ranges between 90-110 feet

Section 4: Ground Rules
1. Single
- Any hit not reaching the wall
- A ball reaching the wall after a bounce, OR a ball rolling past the plane created by the wall in foul territory
- Ball reaching fence in the air, OR making contact with a fielder who touches the wall his/her unsuccessfull attempt at catching the ball
- Ball going over the fence uncaught. Players must round bases.

Instant Replay/Challenge:
The fielder will receive an out if:
- He catches a fly ball
- He fields a ground ball cleanly
- “Cleanly” is defined as: Fielding a ground ball smoothly in one motion in which there are no bobbles, drops, double-takes, or trapping against the ground.
- The fielder will not receive credit for an out if he has to go noticeably backwards to field a ground ball, he may only go slightly back, come forward or go side to side
- A fielder may catch a fly ball off of the trees, but if the ball contacts the house, deck, phone pole, fence, or wall, it is no longer playable for an out
- A fielder can record a double play by: Cleanly fielding the ball, stepping on second and throwing the ball into the net (1 hop or less) within a reasonable amount of time (applies only when runners are on: 1st, 1st and 2nd, or bases loaded)
- A fielder can play anywhere on the field
Section 6: The Batter
- The batter is able to be pitched to once he steps into the box and looks towards the pitcher, if the ball is thrown before the batter is ready it is a ball
- The batter reaches base if he puts the ball into fair play for a single, double, triple, homerun, or the fielder commits an error
- If the batter swings and misses he is out
- If the batter hits two fouls, he is out
- If the batter watches the ball hit the “K zone”, the batter is out
- The batter draws a walk on six balls
- A check swing is decided by a vote from the spectators (NON CHALLENGEABLE)
- A ball is a pitch which doesn’t hit the “K-Zone” or get swung at
- If the batter is struck with a pitch, he is awarded two balls
- If the pitcher misses the backstop, the batter is awarded two balls
- A strike is a pitch which the batter swings and misses/tips, or one which hits the “K-Zone”
- The pitcher must pitch from _____ feet away
- The batter is able to be pitched to once he steps into the box and looks towards the pitcher, if the ball is thrown before the batter is ready it is a ball
- All pitches are legal
Section 8: Challenges/Instant Replay
Challenges:
- Each team will be allotted one challenge per game
- In using a challenge; the team will ask a commissioner to review the previous play.
- Reviewable situations include:
Instant Replay/Challenge:
- Calls on the field are judgment, but can be peacefully protested.
- Commissioners can call a time out on the field to check the ruling on the field
- If the protest is valid, the commissioners will go to instant replay to decide the call based on what they see.
- If the commissioners can’t make a clear decision based on the replay, the call on the field stands
